The Shanghai Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy will be hosting “Smoker Fights” the first Friday of every month starting Friday, February 5th at 8pm. These fights are for amateur fighters only and are open to students from other schools. It does not matter what martial art background you have or from which school you practice at, every one is welcome to attend. Our main focus is to introduce students from all over Shanghai to practice sparring with each other and to learn from one another.
All fights will take place at SHBJJ Academy and will be in a controlled environment over seen by professional instructors and refs. Students participating in the fights will need to wear a cup and mouth protection. All other gear such as gloves, leg protection and head-gear will be available at SHBJJ.

Well, last year ended great and started even better for SHBJJ. We ended the year with a great seminar and opening party. SHBJJ wants to thank everyone for coming and supporting the team, and an even bigger thanks to Eddie and Min for helping with food and drinks.
As for the new year, we posted a new schedule and added some new classes (Kettle Bell Training, Self-Defense, Specific Sparring...) So, please take a look at the schedule and stay up to date.
